Horizon Spinal Care

Horizon Spinal Care is a NUCCA Upper Cervical Chiropractic office. Our main objective is to clear the body of nerve interference due to a spinal subluxation. We accomplish this through the adjustment of the atlas, the top bone in the neck. This produces a structural shift within the body, releasing tension on the brainstem, and relieving the nerve interference within the body.

First, X-rays are taken prior to the correction to allow us to see the exact position of your spine. Careful analysis reveals a formula used to restore your spine to its proper alignment. There is no twisting or popping of the neck, instead we use a gentle pressure to the area of the neck just below the ear, this is at the location of the Atlas. A balanced spine has an opportunity to enter into a healing cycle. This helps on a long term basis because the structure’s position is corrected in reference to gravity, the force always acting on us.

The Atlas is the top bone of the neck. It has the job of balancing the skull on top of the rest of the spine, as well as providing most of the movement for your head and neck.
