Poetry in the Boro

Poetry in the Boro is a monthly open mic and featured reading series hosted in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Since our beginnings in 2016, the mission of PitB is to bring poetry to the community and to offer a place for our community’s creative, unique voices. Our events are free and open to the public, thanks in part to our sponsor MTSU Write, a non-degree creative writing program that offers from-home mentoring to writers of all genres across the nation.

A monthly featured reading and open mic for poets and writers. We most often meet on a Sunday evening.
