Owner, Mitchell Murphree, opened Steakhouse Five in Summer of 2019, tying his childhood to his profession.
“My grandparents raised livestock, my family ran a country ham business, and I was a member of the UT Knoxville meat judging team. You could say an appreciation for meat has been with me since I was born.”
The restaurant seats up to 100 guests inside, as well as 20 on the adjoining patio overlooking the main pocket park at Fountains at Gateway.
Along with the main dining area, Steakhouse Five has a large private room (seating up to 28 guests) & mezzanine that seats a smaller sized group (up to 10 guests).
