Every Valentine’s day weekend, the team from Boro Business Lab present an 80’s themed prom for adults! It’s a chance to re-do your high school prom with the backdrop of the greatest decade ever! So get out your hairspray, parachute pants, and let’s begin the final countdown to Boro Prom! The DJ will be spinning the greatest hits from the 80’s, special cocktails will be served from multiple bars, and fun surprises await attendees all through the night. These tickets sell out fast, so make sure to watch their website to learn when tickets go on sale. All proceeds from the event go to Isaiah 117 house to benefit kids in foster care.

The Gatsby Party
Step back in time and experience The Great Gatsby era firsthand at this Roaring 20s themed party. There will be live music, dancing, and plenty of Prohibition-era cocktails! This year’s party will be held at the historic Oaklands Mansion, which is the perfect setting for a Gatsby-themed event. Make sure to wear your best 1920s attire!

Jazz Fest

Main Street Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday morning in the fall, head to the Murfreesboro square for the farmer’s market! There will be fresh produce, baked goods, fresh flowers, and more. This is a great place to interact with local vendors to buy crafts, local honey, and handmade goods. This is the place to enjoy street musicians, walk your dog, share a great snack, and enjoy the crisp fall weather.

The Clue Party
A murder mystery dinner theater that the classic board game to life. You and your fellow guests will be put to the test to figure out who committed the murder. A celebration of bluegrass music with live performances and shindigs. The musical roots of Uncle Dave Macon Days are deep in Middle Tennessee. The Middle Half
A half marathon that benefits local charities. Murfreesboro is a hot spot for runners, and this race is perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike. The course takes you through some of Murfreesboro’s most beautiful scenery. You can register as an individual or form a team to run with friends. There is also a 5k option for those who don’t want to commit to the full 13.1 miles.

Christmas Parade
Santa Claus comes to town in this annual parade complete with floats, schools bands, and more! This is a great event for the whole family. Make sure to get there early to get a good spot to watch the parade. The parade is a snapshot of the local community boasting floats from local businesses, non profits, and organizations. The candy is flowing from the floats and the whole experience is like a warm hug of community where you enjoy the “small town” feel in the middle of Murfreesboro. There are also usually vendors selling hot chocolate and other snacks. It’s a great tradition to kick off the Christmas season for your family!
